Terms of use and sale
Version of 2026-10-05.4
1. Scope
These general terms (the “Terms”) govern the use of the Terradex game at terradex.fun (the “Game”), published by [to be completed] (the “Publisher”), and purchases made in the Game. They apply as soon as an account is created; by signing up or paying, the player confirms having read and accepted them. Version of 2026-10-05.4. The French version prevails in case of discrepancy.
2. The Game and its test phase
Terradex is a free collectible card game: every roughly 20 km square on the planet is a virtual card obtained by opening boosters, at auction or as a gift.
The Game is under active development. The Publisher may at any time change the rules, balance, rarities, scores, names and shapes of cards, and open or close booster packs. During the test phase announced on the site, player progress (cards, Geodes, rankings) may be reset; the Publisher endeavours to announce it in advance. Purchases made during this phase remain governed by section 8.
3. Account
Sign-up is reserved for people aged 13 or over. A minor needs the consent of a legal guardian to play and may only make purchases with that consent; purchases are reserved for adults or authorised minors.
One account per person. The player provides a valid email address, keeps the password secret and is responsible for the use of the account. Usernames must not be insulting, misleading or infringe the rights of others.
The player may ask for the account to be deleted at any time at [to be completed].
4. Code of conduct
The following are prohibited: cheating, exploiting bugs, automated programs (bots, scripts), multiple or shared accounts, auction manipulation, harassment, selling or buying accounts, cards or Geodes for real money or any benefit outside the Game, and any attack on the operation or security of the service.
In case of breach, the Publisher may, depending on its severity, remove the gains obtained, suspend or delete the account, without compensation. The player may contest the measure at [to be completed].
5. Virtual items
Cards, Geodes, boosters and other Game items are virtual content. The player receives a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable licence to use them in the Game; the player does not acquire ownership.
Geodes are an in-game currency: they have no monetary value and cannot be refunded, converted into money or transferred outside the Game’s mechanisms (auctions, sales). They may lose their usefulness if the Game changes or ends.
6. Boosters and odds
A booster contains 5 cards, plus a 6th card with a 5 % probability. Each card is drawn at random from the cards of the chosen pack (continent); the Game’s balancing rules may slightly vary the odds.
A card’s rarity depends on its rank among the cards of its country in its pack: about 1 % Legendary, 4 % Ultra rare, 8 % Super rare, 17 % Rare, 30 % Uncommon and 40 % Common. Free boosters recharge over time; no purchase is required to play.
Atlas+ boosters of the day (one a day, your choice, renewed at 8 am Swiss time): the mega booster contains 10 cards drawn uniformly from the Rare-or-better cards of the chosen pack; the country booster contains at least 3 cards drawn uniformly from the chosen country, the rest from its pack.
7. Paid offers and prices
Available offers (prices in Swiss francs, VAT included where applicable):
- Atlas+ subscription (per month) : 5.00 CHF
- Annual Atlas+ subscription (per year) : 50.00 CHF
- Booster stock refill : 1.00 CHF
- 100 Geodes : 1.00 CHF
- 500 Geodes : 3.00 CHF
- 1000 Geodes : 5.00 CHF
- 10000 Geodes : 30.00 CHF
The refill fills the free booster stock. Atlas+ is a monthly subscription giving in particular a stock of 15 boosters instead of 10 and a booster of the day (mega or country booster, see section 6); the exact benefits are described in the shop at the time of purchase. Benefits announced as “coming soon” are not owed until available.
The sale is concluded with Stripe (the Stripe group company named on the receipt), acting as reseller of Terradex content: Stripe collects the payment, issues the receipt and remits the applicable VAT. Stripe’s buyer terms govern the payment; these Terms govern the use of the content in the Game. The Publisher never has access to card data. Purchased content is delivered immediately after payment confirmation. In case of a delivery problem, the player contacts [to be completed]: the Publisher delivers the content or has it refunded.
8. Immediate performance and right of withdrawal
Purchased digital content (Geodes, refill, subscription) is supplied immediately after payment. Before paying, the player is informed in the shop; by clicking a purchase, the player expressly requests this immediate performance and acknowledges thereby losing the right of withdrawal upon delivery, where that right applies (in particular for consumers residing in the European Union, Art. 16(m) of Directive 2011/83/EU). Swiss law does not provide a right of withdrawal for online purchases.
Except as provided by law (content not delivered, defective, or erroneous charge), purchases are not refunded, including in case of a reset during the test phase or suspension of the account for breach of the rules.
9. Atlas+ subscription
Atlas+ is taken out for one month (or one year for the annual plan) and renews automatically for the same period at the current price until cancelled. The player can cancel at any time from the shop (“Manage my subscription”); cancellation takes effect at the end of the period already paid, without pro-rata refund.
Free trial: an account’s first Atlas+ subscription (monthly or annual) starts with 3 free days, once per player. The payment method is saved when subscribing, but nothing is charged during the trial. When the trial ends, the chosen subscription starts automatically and its price is charged, unless the player cancelled it before (“Manage my subscription”): they then pay nothing and keep Atlas+ until the trial ends. The trial end date is shown in the shop. Creating several accounts to get several trials is forbidden.
The Publisher may change the price or benefits of Atlas+ by notifying subscribers at least 30 days in advance; a subscriber who does not accept the change may cancel before it takes effect. If the Game ends, current subscriptions are cancelled and the unused period is refunded pro rata.
10. Availability and liability
The Game is provided “as is”, without guarantee of permanent availability or freedom from errors. The Publisher may interrupt the service for maintenance or end it with at least 30 days’ notice.
To the extent permitted by law, the Publisher’s liability is excluded for indirect damage, loss of game data and slight negligence, and limited to the amount paid by the player in the last 12 months. These exclusions do not apply to intent or gross negligence, personal injury, or where the mandatory law of the consumer’s country of residence prohibits them.
11. Personal data
The processing of personal data is described in the Privacy policy.
12. Changes to the Terms
The Publisher may change the Terms. The new version is published on this page and, for significant changes, announced in the Game or by email at least 30 days before it takes effect. A player who keeps playing after that date accepts it; a player who refuses it may delete the account and cancel the subscription.
13. Governing law and jurisdiction
The Terms are governed by Swiss law, excluding conflict-of-law rules and the Vienna Convention on the International Sale of Goods. Consumers keep the protection of the mandatory provisions of the law of their country of residence.
Before any action, the parties seek an amicable solution at [to be completed]. The place of jurisdiction is the Publisher’s domicile, subject to mandatory consumer jurisdictions (Art. 32 Swiss CPC, Brussels I bis Regulation, Lugano Convention), under which consumers may sue in the courts of their domicile.
